The Nokta The Legend is a professional simultaneous multi-frequency metal detector designed for versatile detecting across parks, fields, beaches and highly mineralised ground. With multiple operating frequencies, advanced discrimination, excellent waterproofing and a lightweight design, The Legend is suitable for both experienced detectorists and serious beginners.
The Legend combines multi-frequency technology with selectable single frequencies of 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz and 40 kHz. This gives detectorists flexibility when searching for different types of targets and working in different ground conditions.
The Legend provides dedicated search modes for Park, Field, Beach, Gold Field and Beast, making it suitable for everything from general coin and relic hunting to beach detecting and gold prospecting. Its advanced discrimination and recovery speed settings help users separate desirable targets from iron and other unwanted objects in heavily littered areas.
With an IP68 waterproof rating, The Legend can be fully submerged to depths of up to 5 metres (16 ft). This makes it suitable for beach detecting, wet sand and underwater searching. Vibration detection also provides an alternative alert when detecting underwater.
The detector offers 01–60 Target ID, 60 audio tones, adjustable threshold, Notch Filter, automatic/manual/tracking ground balance, frequency shift and noise cancellation. These controls allow users to fine-tune the detector for different targets and ground conditions.
The Legend weighs approximately 1.3 kg including the search coil and has an adjustable length of 63–132 cm (25–52 inches). Its rechargeable 5050mAh lithium-polymer battery provides up to 20 hours of use, while the backlit LCD and built-in LED flashlight are useful for low-light detecting.
