Description

The Nokta Double Score is a versatile simultaneous multi-frequency metal detector designed for treasure hunting across fields, parks and beaches. Combining Multi-Frequency technology with a 15 kHz single-frequency option, the Double Score provides flexible detection performance while keeping operation simple and straightforward.

With 3 search modes: Park, Field and Beach, the Double Score can be adapted to different detecting environments. It features automatic, manual and tracking ground balance, a 10-level sensitivity setting, adjustable recovery speed, Iron Filter, Notch Filter and 01–60 Target ID for improved target identification.

Simultaneous Multi-Frequency Technology

The Double Score uses Simultaneous Multi-Frequency (SMF) technology, giving detectorists the advantages of multi-frequency detection in an easy-to-use package. It also provides a 15 kHz single-frequency option, allowing users greater flexibility depending on their detecting requirements.

Fully Waterproof for Beach & Underwater Detecting

With an IP68 waterproof rating, the Nokta Double Score can be completely submerged to depths of up to 5 metres (16 ft). This makes it suitable for detecting on wet beaches, in shallow water and in other challenging environments.

Lightweight & Easy to Use

Weighing only 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) including the search coil, the Double Score is designed for comfortable extended detecting sessions. Its adjustable shaft extends from 63 cm to 132 cm (25–52 inches), while the backlit LCD, keypad lighting, vibration and built-in LED flashlight make it practical in low-light and underwater conditions.

Nokta Double Score Questions, Answered

How much is the Nokta Double Score?

£399.95. It sits between the Simplex ULTRA at £299.95 and the Legend at £799.95, and it is the cheapest simultaneous multi frequency machine we stock.

Is simultaneous multi frequency worth it at this price?

That is the interesting question about this machine. SMF normally starts around £800. Here you get it for £399.95, with fewer modes and a simpler control set. For mixed British ground that is a genuinely strong trade.

What are the three search modes?

Park, Field and Beach. Three rather than five, which is part of how the price comes down. For most detecting those three cover everything you actually do.

What coil does it come with?

The SC30, a 30 by 23cm, 12 by 9 inch waterproof DD coil. That is a slightly larger coil than most machines at this price ship with, so it covers ground quickly.

How does it compare with the Simplex ULTRA?

The Simplex at £299.95 runs a single 15kHz frequency with six modes. The Double Score adds simultaneous multi frequency and a bigger coil but drops to three modes and 10 sensitivity levels rather than 30. If your ground varies, take the Double Score.

Is it waterproof?

IP68 and fully submersible to 5 metres, 16 feet, which makes it genuinely usable on wet beaches and in shallow water rather than just splash safe.

What target information does it give?

01 to 60 Target ID, an Iron Filter and a Notch Filter, with automatic, manual and tracking ground balance and adjustable recovery speed. Enough to learn properly on without being overwhelming.

How comfortable is it for a long session?

1.2kg including the coil, on a shaft adjusting from 63 to 132cm, 25 to 52 inches, with a backlit LCD and up to 12 hours of battery. A separate pinpointer at £49.95 is still the fastest way to recover a target.
