The s-series covers ordinary indoor screening well. The sX family exists for sites where the entrance is harder: higher volumes, more precise zone reporting, or conditions the s-series was not built for. At £3,099 the sX is where that begins.
One physical clue to the difference is in the packing. The s-series ships in a 12kg second box; the sX ships in a 14kg one at 43 by 81 by 27cm, and the net weight rises from 60kg to 61kg. The frame and passage are identical, so the extra is inside the electronics rather than in the structure.
Above this sit the sX-WP at £4,625 and the sX-i NOVO at £5,350. Below it, the s9 at £2,760 covers most school and office entrances perfectly well.

Yes. The 70 to 270 VAC input at 50 to 60Hz covers nearly every national supply without a transformer, which is a genuine advantage if you operate across several countries or ship equipment to events.
Physically yes. But an archway performs best commissioned in one position away from interference, so every move means re checking the setup. Touring operators should budget time for that at each venue rather than assuming plug and play.
