The Golden mask 18 cm search coil is suitable for work in very trashy areas and for gold prospecting. On a 18 kHz metal detector, the coil is very sensitive to small gold nuggets, combining sensitivity and depth or search.

Used on my GM6 to great effect, this coil is perfect for stubble, woodland or around the buttresses of trees and uncut pasture. It’s depth bellies it’s size, it’s light, manoeuvrable and tough. The 7” works just great at 15 kHz but is exceptional at 30 finding the tinniest and thinnest objects and coins at surprising depths in places that larger or even medium coils hinder progress. Every GM owner should have one of these in their kit bag.
