The 23×25 cm DD elliptical search coil for Golden Mask Metal Detectors is an all-round coil, suitable for every type of search. Light enough to swipe it all day long, with good depth and good ground coverage.
The 23 by 25cm elliptical is the coil to pick if you want one that suits every kind of search. The elliptical shape pinpoints more precisely than a round coil and gets into hedgerows and between obstacles, while 0.515kg keeps it light enough to swing all day. Depth and ground coverage are both solid rather than specialised.
At 23 by 25cm this is the mid sized elliptical in the range. Golden Mask fitting only. Send us your model and we will confirm it. See the full coil range or the machines they fit.
Elliptical pinpoints better and reaches into tight spaces. Round gives a slightly wider, deeper footprint on open ground. For mixed British permissions most people prefer elliptical.
Yes, if you want better pinpointing and access to hedgerows without losing coverage. It is a sideways move in depth and a step up in precision.
Very heavily littered ground, where a smaller coil separates better, and maximum depth on large targets, where the 32 by 38cm reaches further.
Yes, fitted as standard, which is worth having on stubble and shingle.

Light, tough and just about the perfect size. This coil is nearly as deep as the spider 12”, very sensitive to tiny targets and renders very clear and sharp audio response. Works brilliantly at 15 and 30kHz on the GM6.
