Description
GOLD SEEKER Questions, Answered
How much is the GOLD SEEKER?
£2,495, reduced from £3,780. For a German built pulse induction instrument with a two year warranty that is competitive, and it undercuts most of the multi system long range units considerably.
How deep does it go?
Up to 3.5 metres. That is deliberately mid range: deep enough for buried gold, nuggets, precious metals, archaeological coins and relics, without the price of a system quoting tens of metres that you would struggle to excavate anyway.
What does pulse induction give me here?
It penetrates mineralised soil properly and cuts false signals in difficult ground. Where a conventional machine becomes unstable on iron rich or salt heavy ground, a pulse instrument keeps working. That is the whole reason to choose this over a cheaper detector.
What ground will it handle?
Wet soil, mineral rich terrain, basalt and metallic rock, and salt heavy ground. Automatic calibration adapts it rather than leaving you to retune by hand each time the ground changes.
How heavy is the kit?
The device is 2,000g and the full package 6,800g, in a case of 810 by 325 by 200 millimetres. It is a carry to site and work instrument rather than something to walk a field with all day.
How does it compare with the OKM Pulse Nova?
Both are pulse induction. The Pulse Nova at £2,390 is far lighter at 0.64kg, takes interchangeable coils and reaches about 3 metres. The Gold Seeker reaches 3.5 metres and is the more substantial build. Choose on weight and coil options as much as depth.
Who is it for?
Gold prospectors, coin hunters, archaeological hobbyists and relic hunters working ground that defeats ordinary machines. If your permissions are quiet and sandy, you do not need this.
Is it certified?
CE certified and ISO 9001, made in Germany, with a two year warranty handled by us in the UK. See also our PI detectors page.
