Aurelian Questions, Answered
How much is the Aurelian?
£2,200. Next Labs position it as the economical long range option, and within our Next Labs range it sits between the Blue Diamond at £2,150 and the River-F at £2,250.
What are the two search systems?
An automatic long range locator that scans a wide area and identifies possible targets for you, and a manual long range locator that lets you set the parameters yourself. Beginners live in the automatic mode; experienced operators get more out of the manual one.
What can the automatic system find?
Gold, natural gold, silver, bronze, cavities and diamond, across a front scan range of 0 to 3,000 metres and a depth range of 0 to 25 metres.
What extra control does the manual system give me?
You set the front scan range and depth range yourself, and choose a specific target type from Ottoman gold, Roman gold, treasures, gold nuggets, silver coins and silver bars. Narrowing to one target type is what cuts down false indications.
Is the interface difficult?
No. A 2.8 inch touch screen with a graphical interface in German, English, French, Russian, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and Persian. Choosing a system and setting distances and depths is quick.
Is it realistic to detect at 25 metres?
For a substantial mass in cooperative ground, that is the quoted range. It is a reconnaissance depth: you use it to narrow a large area, then confirm on foot. Nothing finds a coin at 25 metres.
How does it compare with the five system units?
It has two systems rather than five, so there is less cross checking available, and it costs a fraction of what the Titan GER 1000 or Deep Seeker do. For someone entering long range prospecting on a budget that trade is reasonable.
Who is it for?
Prospectors and treasure hunters who want long range capability without professional pricing. If you are hunting coins and relics in British fields, a coil machine from our most popular range is the better buy.
