Description
Long range equipment works differently from a detector and it is worth being plain about that. The X13 does not sweep the ground. It gives you a direction and an approximate distance to a target mass, so you can reduce tens of acres to something you can actually search. The confirmation still comes from getting close and scanning properly.

Being Honest About Long Range
Long range equipment is the most oversold category in this industry, so here is our position. The physics is real and these systems do narrow large areas usefully in the right hands. They are also heavily dependent on ground conditions and on a trained, sceptical operator. Treat an indication as a reason to survey an area properly, never as a mark on a treasure map, and cross check from more than one direction before you dig. If you want a machine that tells you there is a coin under the coil, buy a coil detector instead and spend the difference on permissions.
Why Buy From Us
The full range is on our GER and UIG page. For German 3D survey systems instead, see OKM.
Titan X13 Questions, Answered
How much is the Titan X13?
£9,750, reduced from £13,000. That makes it the dearest GER unit we stock. The Titan GER 1000 at £7,750 is the step below and has more field experience behind it.
What is the difference between the X13 and the Titan GER 1000?
Reach, principally. The X13 is the deeper system and the top of the range. The GER 1000 at £7,750 is the more widely used of the two, so there is a larger body of operator experience to draw on.
Does long range detection actually work?
It narrows large areas usefully in trained hands, and that is a genuine job worth paying for. It does not pinpoint a coin from a distance, and performance drops in dry, heavily mineralised or built up ground. We would rather say that plainly than sell you something you return.
Is the Titan X13 suitable for UK detecting?
It works here, but most British permissions are better served by a coil machine. This is equipment for large scale prospecting and professional recovery work. Ring us and we will tell you honestly whether it fits what you are doing.
Do I need training?
Yes. Setup, calibration and a walk through are included when you buy from us. An untrained operator gets confident readings that mean nothing, which is where this category’s poor reputation comes from.
What ground does it handle?
Mountains, desert, beach and forest, and it is stable in mineralised soil. Dry ground reduces long range performance, as it does for every system of this type.
Is there a UK warranty?
Yes, handled by us as the UK dealer, so a fault is a phone call here rather than a shipment abroad.
Can I see it demonstrated first?
Yes, and at this price you should. Ring us and we will arrange it rather than ask you to buy unseen.
