The 30cm Fighter is a newer Golden Mask design and it changes what is possible on tough soil. On heavily mineralised ground it outperforms every other coil in the range, staying stable where others become unusable. It also performs well on ordinary soil, so it is not a coil you only fit for difficult sites.

This 30cm Fighter is round and slightly heavier at 0.585kg. The 32 by 28cm Fighter S is elliptical, covers more area and is lighter. Both are built for the same problem.
If your permissions are on iron rich clay, yes, clearly. If your ground is quiet and sandy, a lighter coil will serve you just as well for less.
