On large coins and relics, yes, noticeably. On small modern coins the gain is smaller, because depth scales with target size however big the coil is.
A large coil sees a large volume of soil at once, so on heavily mineralised ground there is more interference to cope with. Whether it becomes a problem depends on your detector. If your ground is bad, choose a Fighter coil instead.
It is the heaviest coil in the range and you will feel it after a few hours. Keeping the coil low and letting your arm hang rather than holding it out makes a real difference.
