Brilliant machine, great depth and recovery speed. The display is innovative and packed with information about the target under the coil as are the sounds produced. It’s light, tough and compact so you could easily cycle, walk or hop on the bus to your permission with it tucked in a backpack. It’s detecting as it should be, like finding history and connecting with our past in with a trustworthy friend at your side, a detector you can rely on with straight forward meaningful adjustments to hand. But just as important is the level of advice and genuine support offered by Tim and the Team at UK Metal Detectors, it really is second to none. They have the years of experience and knowledge with GM and the other makes they offer to put the right detector in your hands . UKMD offer a brilliant experience from day one.

Returning to detecting after nearly 40 years, bought a barely used year old ‘6’ after talking to Tim at length about this machine. What a piece of kit, stable and deep with accurate target identification, fast recovery, sharp target location and depth. Easy to set up and use right away and has plenty of scope to grow with your experience. Light and robust with CF shaft at very reasonable price, even new especially when compared to other major brands, you get a great deal for your investment with excellent backup and accessories. Highly recommend the GM 6 and UK Metal Detectors, sound friendly honest advice and plenty of good kit on offer to enhance your GM detector.

Great machine, very powerful and stable in different ground conditions. I went over some ground I have detected every inch with my Minelab and the Golden Mask has found a lot more great finds. Get one!
